Tasting Notes

There is a vibrant bouquet of dark cherry, cool raspberries, strawberries and spice. This is reinforced on the palate, with tart raspberry, cranberry and strawberry husk. Integrated oak balances out highlights of red delicious apples. It's ready to drink now and just as the apples suggest, it’s delicious.

One of the most outstanding yet simple and enjoyable dishes created by the very talented Head Chef of our sister restaurant Geronimo Aperitivo Bar & Restaurant in Launceston is the Chicken Liver Parfait. It's light, flavoured with port and sherry, herbs and spice and works so well with this vibrant Pinot Noir. Delight your tastebuds and see for yourself by paying Geronimo a visit, it's worth it - Cheers, Jeremy.

In 1821, Gala Estate was gifted to James Amos. Gala Estate is located in Cranbrook on the East Coast of Tasmania, where it is run by 5th, 6th and 7th generations of Amos, known for producing a variety of aromatic whites and single site Pinot Noir. Set in a quirky location with a rustic setting, it’s definitely an interesting place to visit, owned by sheep farmers who now happen to make some very smart wines.
