Located in the beautiful McLaren Vale Region, Aramis Vineyard was purchased in 1998 by Lee Flourentzou. The first vintage was released in 2002, the wines produced were of sincere quality and not only award winning but were also given a 5 star Halliday status within the first three years. Flourentzou has an uncompromising approach and wines made on site are to the best quality possible.
A style of shiraz close to our hearts - elegant, velvety tannin structure combined with a savouriness and minerality with a rich mocha and charcuterie with an opulent finish. The lifted fruit characters of blueberry’s and cassis are beautifully balanced with savoury notes, smoked meats and lingering complexity. Drink this wine when eating food to ensure you get the most out of its complexity and elegance.

Whilst Shiraz in Australia typically is know for a style that is big and heavy in weight with a firm tannin structure the Aramis Shiraz, is far more subdued. This wine is elegant and well structured with more savouriness and minerality, to compliment we suggest fruit in beef dishes. We have chosen to match this wine with a Beef and Quince stew, as the Quinces add a floral, aromatic presence backed by sweet caramelised fruit characters.
